Nanning National New & High-tech Industrial Development Zone Introduction Nanning New & High-tech Industrial Development Zone (NNHIDZ) was approved as National-level High-tech Industrial Development Zone in 1992, with a planned area of 28Km2, it grew to a constructed area of 8.5Kml, consisting of Centre District, S & T Industrial park, Bioagricultural Demonstration District, Xiangsi Lake Villas District, Bonded District and S&T Street. NNHIDZ is located in the west of Nanning City, 2km from the centre of the city. There are 70m-wide and 7km-long main road, such as the Xixiangtang road, 60m-wide city express highway, and 50m-wide main road of industrial park, all of which form a perfect communication net. Water Factories that can produce 600,000T of water, 30 3l500KVA transformer stations, program-controlling telecommunication branch bureaus of 30000 telephones, and 2.lkm tap water pipes have been completed. 
The main infrastructures, 0.8kM2 of Industrial Park have been finished, which form good investment environments with perfect function and convenient communication. 
As the centre of science and technology, culture and education in Guangxi, NNHIDZ consists of 48 colleges, occupational schools and research institutes, which are the strong support for developing high-tech industries. 
Administrative Committee of Nanning New & High-tech Industrial Development Zone, an agency of Nanning municipality, establishes a branch of national treasure, exercises municipal-level economic and administrative authorities in planning, finance, land administration, construction management, industry, taxation, personnel, project examination, foreign affairs examination and management of census register.
